W02: Create a Life of Meaning
This week in BUS 110: Intro to Entrepreneurship, we took a dive into our life plan and began focusing on WHAT we would like to do. We were asked to watch a video by Randy Pausch, entitled, " How to Achieve Your Childhood Dreams.” This lecture was based on a serious entitled, "The Last Lecture." The point of the lecture was, if you had one more lecture to give before you died, what would it be? In this video Randy shares just that. The narrator in the video shares that Randy was a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was only supposed to live for a few more weeks or months. He shared the dreams he was able to accomplish. The way he was able to achieve his dreams, is that he didn't give up. He was given advice from a good friend that if he waited long enough people have a way of surprising you and impressing you.
